"We are spirit, stories, flesh, blood, and bones. Speak stories you choose, consciously, and to uplift your soul. Such stories, when repeated, create a new memory, and uplift humanity." - - Dr.B
WHAT IS ITM?
ITM (Inviting the Medicine): Eight Steps to Build and Refine Character is the result of over two decades of study and practice in linguistics, performance studies, devised theater, raja and nada yoga, and multicultural leadership techniques.
ITM is a step-by-step method, progressively designed to:
- increase self-awareness
- alleviate the effects of isolation, loneliness and lack of purpose
- understand one's current course of action
- learn how to share one's passion and resources
- overcome the fear of failure
- learn to surrender the results of one's work to a higher source
- learn how to relax and rest
In my ITM classes, workshops and rehearsals, I work with breathing control and expansion, voice and movement improvisation, theatre games, composition, writing, devising, design, and live performance.
